MICHAEL B. BRISBOIS
PRINCIPAL
Michael Brisbois holds
professional degrees in Architecture and Construction
Management from the University of Oregon and is an Associate
Member of the American Institute of Architects. He has
acquired an impressive list of credentials, with well
over one hundred completed commercial,
multi-family, institutional, industrial and custom home developments
over the past thirty-four years. He is especially proficient
in assignments involving program management, project development,
financial planning and pre-construction services, contract
negotiations, construction administration and quality
control services.
Mr. Brisbois has had extensive experience in field
project and operations management for nationally ranked General
Contracting
and Construction Management firms, with a special emphasis in the
design-build, construction management and field operations disciplines.
He has served as Vice President and Director of Construction
Management for a large international hotel management and development
company and also has had substantial business development and project
management responsibilities with a reputable, Denver-based General
Contractor. Mr. Brisbois has served as a Construction Manager
for an internationally renowned Construction Management firm headquartered
in Denver and as Senior Project Manager and Area Operations Manager
for an Engineering 400 General Contractor based in Portland, Oregon.
During his many years in the real estate development
industry, Mr. Brisbois has successfully managed the design and/or
construction of a wide variety of commercial projects. Included
are office buildings, industrial facilities, hotels, multi-family
and single-family residential, hospitals, justice centers, R&D, retail,
recreational, entertainment, conference facilities, restaurants, schools and large, mixed use projects with elaborate tenant finish requirements.
Mr. Brisbois is President of Michael Brisbois Associates (MBA),
a Denver-based real estate development and construction consulting
firm, which he founded in 1993. MBA provides a broad range of Owner
Representation services including site acquisition, due diligence,
program management, project development, pre-construction and construction
management services for clients with commercial, institutional,
multi-family, industrial, office and mixed use projects in Colorado and
throughout the Continental U.S. Mr. Brisbois has lived and worked
in the Denver area since 1985.
